A special idea arises from a special meeting.
Gennaro Giglio and Mauro Zona are, respectively, an orthopaedist and an engineer specialised in industrial design. Friendship and scientific curiosity enabled them to create SeveninOne, an exclusive medical instrument with seven different functions. The essence of design combines with hand-picked materials in order to meet the needs of today’s orthopaedist, who looks for a functional, exclusive, and customisable product. The genesis of SeveninOne is significant and delicate, because all the details have been considered. Development, patent and manufacturing share one common denominator: quality. The CE marking (Class 1) and the registration with the Italian Ministry of Health database prove that. SeveninOne is not just a medical diagnostic instrument, but a reference in medical orthopaedic design.

All professionals, in any sector, have their own reference instrument.
Orthopaedics are used to working also out of their consulting rooms: SeveninOne, the first multi-purpose medical instrument for orthopaedics, has been created for them. You can immediately realize that it is not a simple hammer. It is instead a modern and elegant design with seven instruments for orthopaedic doctors. From the reflex hammer to the goniometer for measurement on X-rays pictures, from Wartenberg pinwheel to the plumb line and much more. Seven instruments in one. Besides this, SeveninOne can fit into one pocket of the doctor’s gown.

Today medicine and design speak the same language and can meet.
If quality is their common denominator, a functional engineering project perfectly combines with nice shapes for a designer product: SeveninOne. An instrument that expresses the classical style and the curved smooth shapes which are typical of the best medical designer products. This latter dimension applies the shapes and the respect of proportions to medicine, as diagnosis and treatment instruments must look appealing and reassuring, in order not to frighten patients. Materials, shapes and colours let room to imagination and convey a fundamental idea: SeveninOne meets the patient and is perceived as a non-invasive scientific instrument.
